We belong to the Earth and the Earth belongs to us, although not in a "possession's sense", but in an appurtenance, as a part of a whole, in the same deep way as our heart correspond to us, belonging as One. As a Lover is in oneness with the Beloved and the Beloved is in oneness with the Lover, as the Creator loving its Creation and the Creation loving its Creator in correspondence: the Earth surrendering herself to all of us, to all Beings being a part of Her.
I want to dedicate you a song, to dedicate it on behalf Tonantzin, our beloved Mother Earth, in behalf of all Beings on Earth, on behalf of the Sun and the Universe:
In our confusion: at which step within our path did we lost the awareness of being loved?
At which step of our path to here did we forgot who we are trying to be someone else just to feel appreciated, just trying to "earn" the love that is essentially for ours, essentially who we are, jut trying to feel belonging as we have always belonged.
When did we lost contact with reality? When did we lost contact with the Earth that sustains us as we ran behind unlimited success? as we ran searching for an ultimate happiness that we won't reach outside of us because it lies within ourselves. When did we lost the true mesure of all as we stop recognizing our own mesure?

Translation from the picture:
Take care of earthly things:
Just do something, chop some firewood, plow the ground,
just cultivate some nopal cactus, plant some agaves,
you will have something to drink, something to eat, something to wear.
With that you will stand tall, you will be truthful,
with that, you will be able to walk.
With that, you will get a name, you will be praised,
just with that, you will be recognized.
Huhuetlatolli means our ancestors' words, our grandparents' words.
Yearning, passion, compassion, joy, emotions we may have though dimmed, dormant, almost extinguished, although they rest dormant under our routinary points of view, laying below our prejudices used to assess all around us. Those emotions are always there, ready to sprout whenever the opportunity arises because they are essentially who we are.
